I agree that PlC's should address areas of weakness and provide positive feedback to teachers. Teachers don't have a enough time to work in the classroom due to meetings, paperwork, conferences, etc. So, if the PLCs are ones where the teachers can receive information that is useful, they won't feel it is a waste of time that could've been used to plan in their classroom.

In mys chool there are only 2 pre-kindergarten teachers. We are never included in any of the kindergarten planning or activities. We always feel very left out of everything that goes on in the school. We need to be in the "know" also. Anything that goes on affects us as well. When the pre-k-first grade level chair person asked out principal about including pre-k in the meetings, the principal said it wasn't necessary because pre-k was it's own "entity". We really feel alone.
